Duos for Violin and Cello Vol. 7 Songs from Various Nations is an around-the-world trip in 11 new compositions by Laszlo Rossa. We travel from far-away Tatarstan to the Lapland in Finland and further to Ireland, France and Central Europe. Special emphasis is given to characters of the national styles . The uneven meters of Balkan dances, the embellishments of slow Serbian lament, and the quick feet of the Dutch song-dance all develop understanding of the musical world through one s own instrument.
