Description

Kalevi Aho s completion of J. S. Bach s masterful Contrapunctus XIV from The Art of Fugue blends organically into the original 233-bar composition by Bach. Kalevi Aho s completion is a celebration of the fugue, as it would be had Bach completed it himself.

The present edition is for open instrumentation. Parts for C-instruments, B-flat-instrument and E-flat-instruments are supplied. This is a suitable work for wind ensemble of four or more players.

This product includes the full score in C and 13 different parts.

Kalevi Ahon täydennys J. S. Bachin Contrapunctus XIV:een nivoutuu saumattomasti yhteen alkuperäisen, kesken jääneen 233-tahtisen teoksen kanssa. Ahon täydennys on fuugan juhlaa, aivan kuten Bachin kynästä syntynyt alkuosuus.

Tässä editiossa on avoin instrumentaatio. Pakettiin kuuluu stemmat C-soittimille, B-soittimille ja Es-soittimille. Pienin esittävä kokoonpano on kvartetti, suurinta ei ole rajattu.
