Description

This new edition of the Six Humoresques is based on the Urtext edition of the orchestral version. The solo part is corrected and amended according to the composer s manuscripts. Misprints and misinterpretations found in earlier editions have been corrected. Jani Kyllönen has prepared a completely new piano reduction which follows closely the orchestral texture and can be used in performances with violin and piano.

Tämä uusi editio Sibeliuksen Kuudesta humoreskista perustuu orkesteriversion Urtext-editioon. Soolo-osuus on korjattu ja tarkastettu säveltäjän käsikirjoituksia vasten, ja vanhoissa painoksissa olleet epätarkkuudet ja virheet on korjattu. Jani Kyllönen on valmistanut täysin uuden pianoreduktion, joka myötäilee Sibeliuksen orkesteritekstuuria aiempaa reduktiota paremmin. Tämän uuden version myötä Humoreskeja voi huoletta esittää myös viulu-piano-versioina.
